Meridian Navigator · private testing

A guided workspace for preparing a business plan and an HZZ application.

An empty document is not a business plan. Navigator takes you through the decisions in the order they have to be made, asks for concrete answers where assessors actually look, and keeps the numbers connected to the story.

The problem

Most plans fail on structure, not on ambition.

  • Key questions are never asked, so the plan reads as a description
  • Projections are not connected to the operating story
  • Assumptions and risks stay unstated
  • Costs and the investment plan do not add up
  • The applicant cannot tell which parts still need evidence
  • Reworking after a rejection costs more than preparing properly
The difference

A guided system, not a text generator.

Generic AI generator

  • Writes text from one short prompt
  • Produces projections disconnected from the plan
  • Does not separate assumptions from evidence
  • Optimises paragraphs instead of decisions

Meridian Navigator

  • Guides the order of decisions, not paragraphs
  • Requests concrete inputs at every step
  • Keeps the financial and narrative logic connected
  • Separates assumptions from evidence-backed facts
How it works

Guidance in the order the plan actually has to be built

  1. 01The business idea and the customer it is for.
  2. 02Market and competition, with assumptions written down.
  3. 03The way you will operate: capacity, pricing and delivery.
  4. 04Costs, investment and the intended use of funds.
  5. 05Financial tables that stay connected to the rest of the plan.
  6. 06A completeness and consistency check before you finish.
What you get

What you end up with

  • A complete draft plan structured around the programme's sections
  • Financial tables linked to your operating assumptions
  • A list of gaps and inconsistencies to resolve before submission
  • A record of the assumptions behind each number
  • An exportable document you can review with an adviser or submit yourself

Navigator is a preparation tool. It does not submit anything and does not decide on your application.

Who it is for

For founders who want to build the plan themselves before expert review.

  • Future applicants for the HZZ self-employment grant
  • Founders who understand their own business and want structured guidance
  • Users willing to confirm their facts, prices, costs and evidence
  • People who want an exportable draft rather than generic generated text
Clear boundaries

What Navigator is — and what it is not.

What Meridian does

  • Guiding you through the structure of the plan
  • Keeping the numbers and the narrative connected
  • Flagging missing parts and inconsistencies
  • Producing a document you can export and review

What Meridian does not do

  • Any guarantee that a grant will be approved
  • An official HZZ assessment or scoring decision
  • A replacement for confirming your own facts and figures
  • A public subscription product with published pricing — not yet
FAQ

Common questions

Is Navigator publicly available?

Not yet. It is in private testing with selected users. Public access, terms of use and pricing will be published when the product opens.

Does Navigator replace a consultant?

No. It structures your own work and flags gaps. If you want the preparation handled for you, that is the Meridian HZZ advisory service.

Does the tool decide whether my plan is good?

It checks structure, completeness and internal consistency. It does not assess your application and cannot predict the outcome.

Can I use it for a bank business plan?

The current guidance is built around the HZZ self-employment grant. Other uses are being evaluated and are not promised.
